The Association of German Engineers (VDI) is proud to host the 32nd FISITA World Automotive Congress in Munich, from 14-19 September 2008.

FISITA 2008 will focus on sustainable mobility solutions for humans and goods in all areas of passenger car, truck and bus transportation, integrated in total mobility concepts. Emphasis will be placed on the development of future powertrain systems, conservation of the environment and energy resources as well as new vehicle concepts, materials, electronics and essential improvements in vehicle safety. Special attention will be devoted to the product creation process - including virtual reality techniques, simulation and testing methods.
FISITA 2008 will demonstrate the important role and creative power of engineers world-wide to solve the current and future challenges facing society.
