When two gears gear, transmission error (T.E.) will appear due to the influence of material parameters, manufacture and assembly parameters. Transmission error will cause vibrations in the pair of gears and then transmits to the group of axes on which the gears are fitted. These vibrations will generate forces imposing on the bearing and transmit to the gearbox casing and wherefrom they will impact on the hanging racks and transmit into the air. The measure results are the dominant quantity which is also known as external noise. By using the F.E.M method, we can calculate the entire operation process of the gearbox structure as a whole, creating vibrations on the gearbox casing and impacts on the surrounding spaces. We can use measuring instruments to determine the noise and vibration of the gearbox at appropriate distances; however, the accuracy and appropriateness are subject to measuring conditions. The liquid environment of the air will be determined with elements within the measured area and combined with experiments to improve the accuracy of the problem and measurement. This article presents the results of research on noise and vibration of mechanic gearbox by the F.E.M method that employs the Ansys software to imitate the operation of the mechanic 5-gear box and solve on the computer.
