The Audi plant in Ingolstadt is not only the company´s biggest production facility, it is alsohome to the Head Office and Technical Development Division. The tasks performed by this division include the development of engines (power units and transmissions), design, electrics/electronics development, body and chassis development, through to the development of the total vehicle. This tour will give you the chance to have a look at Audi´s Wind Tunnel Centre which comprises three test rigs: the aerocoustic, the thermal and the climatic wind tunnel. The tour ends with a visit of the company´s own mobile museum.

This day gives you the chance to take a look behind the scenes of BMW. During a guided tour
through the BMW World you will receiveexcitinginsights into the companyand learn more about the fascinating architecture of the building.
You will also visit the home plant of the BMW Group and experience livehow the company produces individual cars according to customer requirements with passion and precision. Experience how parts are produced from heavy coils of steel, how they are assembled into a car body and painted. Follow a car on its way to completion, from the wedding of engine and car body to various quality tests.
The tour will be completed with a visit to the BMW Museum.

scientific institutes and approximately 1200 employees. The research centre's main fields of activity include participating in space missions, climate research, research and development in the field of Earth observation, developing navigation systems and advanced robotics development.

It is also developing hybrid and fuel-cell drive systems.
The excursion includes the Testing department at the MAN plant in Munich and a visit to the Advance Development department. The diesel-electric hybrid city bus, currently ontrial in Nuremberg and the MAN TGX truck with eye tracker- a recent development in the field of active safety systems for commercial vehicles - will also be presented.
